IONWINGS / PRIVATE BETA
Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Who to contact
IonWings is an aviation intelligence project. Contact the project operator at hello@ionwings.gr for privacy questions and verified rights requests.
Information we collect
Beta applications include your name, preferred username, email, optional reason and interests. We process account details, feedback you submit, optional screenshots and limited security records. Do not put passwords, API keys or personal information belonging to other people in feedback.
Purpose and legal basis
We process requested beta applications and account access to take steps at your request and provide the beta service. Security monitoring protects legitimate platform and user interests. Optional marketing requires a separate, unselected consent choice and is not required for access. Organizational legal-basis assessments remain the responsibility of the operator.
Recipients and external services
The service uses its hosting and email infrastructure. Authenticated maps load OpenFreeMap resources, images may load from authorized photography providers and the interface can load Bunny Fonts. These connections reveal network information to those providers. We do not enable optional analytics or advertising cookies by default.
Retention
Pending applications are removed after 90 days, rejected applications after 30 days and feedback/screenshots after 180 days without activity. Security request events are retained for 30 days. Expired beta accounts become inactive and are pseudonymized after 180 days; the inactive record is retained. Completed privacy-request records are removed after one year. Pseudonymization is not guaranteed anonymization.
Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability where applicable. Active users can use the account Privacy section and password-verified personal export. Other applicants and expired users can contact hello@ionwings.gr. We verify identity before disclosing or changing records. You may complain to your relevant data protection supervisory authority.
Security and transfers
We restrict access, encrypt appropriate stored secrets, use HTTPS and minimize logs. No system can promise absolute security. Hosting location, processor terms and any international transfers require ongoing operator review; ask the contact address for the current arrangements.
